Diesel Levante Srl since 1988:
Its founder, Raffaele Buccino, after several years of commercial experience as a sales agent in “diesel injection parts”, creates a company, with his young son, Antonio Buccino, called Diesel Levante Srl; a company specialised in the wholesale distribution of diesel injection pumps, parts and
injectors.
1993: the first location in Bari
The company moves its premises from a provincial location to a bigger and more central one where all logistic connections enable a faster and more efficient distribution within the
territory.
1997: we put on the turbo!
Raffaele and Antonio Buccino decide to complete their specialisation in the power supply for diesel engines by including and associating to the already existing injection products, those related to
turbochargers.
1998: The Laboratory
After only one year from the launch of the Turbo segment, the important investments made for equipment and training brought Diesel Levante to open next to its headquarters, its own laboratory for the overhauling and repair of
turbochargers.
2000: new millennium, new successes
In April 2000, we launched the new location on the arterial road S.S.96. A modern facility of 700 square meters, which includes our efficient, parts warehouse, huge and comfortable offices and a very modern laboratory with high technological equipment. The operators in this field and other important and public institutions acknowledge Diesel Levante as an ideal partner with regard to purchase of parts and technical assistance within the diesel injection and turbochargers business.
Diesel Levante Today
Although deprived since November 2002 of its founder, Raffaele Buccino, who prematurely deceased at the age of 66 due to an incurable disease, the team conducted by his children, Antonio e Katia Buccino, is a group of specialised and motivated people who carry out their job with great professionalism and passion.
